[Named of Related Universe is Yet To Be Confirmed]

So, these three kids created themselves in my head over the past couple of weeks or so, and they're all pretty much fully developped now. It was hard trying not to think "oh, so this one's like Pinkie Pie", or "that one's like Twilight", but when MLP basically covers the full spectrum of character types, it's hard to shove that voice out of my head. I think I'll just talk a bit about each of them, but first...

The World They're In
It's a fantasy world, so there's magic, dragons, large forests, all that D&D type stuff.
There's a war going on. I haven't exactly plotted out why it's happening, or who is on what side, but it's been going on a while, and the number of volunteer recruits has pretty much dried up, and the army is now looking to conscript any able-bodied man.

Vivi Evans
She's a booksmart bookworm from a fairly well off family. She doesn't hit very hard in a fight, but she's looked at human anatomy and knows where to hit in order to bring someone down as quickly and efficiently as possible. It's just getting those hits in that's the problem. Her parents were saving to send her to one of the best schools in the kingdom in order to reach her potential, when her father was drafted. The income from the army meant that it became impossible for her family to save enough for her schooling. Vivi feels resentful of the army, and of the whole war, it now having cost her future. One day, a deployment of soldiers arrive in the town on their way to the front line. On that night, she overhears two very senior officers talking about the [name of magic object] that could "bring peace to the world", but that they're planning on using purely to wipe out the enemy. She decides that she should go out and find it herself, to end the war, get her dad home and maybe use reward money to fund her education. Her smarts means that she's usually better at outsmarting/winning over/talking to adults than either Jamie or Sophia.

Jamie Potts
He's very shy and quiet, easily frightened and overpowered, but his quietness means that he's good at sneaking up on people who aren't expecting it. His mum died when he was young, and his father struggled to really connect with him emotionally, as he was simply not into the same things. Jamie prefers to cook than get confrontational, and has a knack for making the best of whatever ingredients are available. He overhears Vivi's plans to leave and follows her out quite a way into the woods, using his ability to cook to convince her to let him come with her. Initially she sees him as particularly weak phsyically, butit turns out he is capable of brief but intense feats of strength when he sees people he cares about in danger. His caring nature means that he's often better at comforting younger children than either Viv or Sophia.

Sophia Snaps
She's grown up incredibley independant, since, after she was rescued from an attack on a refugee camp, she wound up at an orphanage which didn't take good care of the people it housed, and so have left her to fend for herself. Sophia loves this, as it means she can get away with pretty much anything and has lived her life so far without rules or consequence, hyperactively bouncing all over the place, thinking nothing of stealing or using physical violence. However she adores cute and girly things, flowers, animals, jewellery, and is easily distracted by them. She decides to come along with them since she has nothing better to do and is just bored of everyone talking about the war. She initially has a lot of conflict with Vivi, as Vivi wants her to calm down and follow rules and orders, but Sophia wants Vivi to relax and be less uptight. Somehow, during her growing up, she gained the ability to understand and communicate with most types of animal, and is on first-name terms with a bear that lives near the town.

So, as you can see from all that, these characters are pretty much fully developed, and have the potential for all sorts of different conflicts and in-story growth of character. And the basic premise of the story is there too, although I do have a big plot twist involved for the object that they go questing for. I really want to write/draw this, but I feel like I should try to finish NQD, and that I REALLY should be working on Rick and Rooster 2, but at the moment I can't get my head out of this story. It's just epic!
